The Leftovers Season 3 Release Date, Trailer & Spoilers

The Leftovers Season 3: Based on the bestselling novel by Tom Perrotta, The Leftovers follows Kevin Garvey, a father of two and the chief of police in a small New York suburb, as he tries to maintain some semblance of normalcy when the notion no longer applies.

The series is executive produced by Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof, together with Perrotta and Friday Night Lights executive producers Peter Berg and Sarah Aubrey.

The popular HBO’s series wrapped season two in December 2015 and very soon the third season will release.

The Leftovers is one of the most powerful shows the world has ever had the pleasure of seeing.

The Leftovers is a series that totally different from the other TV shows. It’s just too intense emotionally. It doesn’t focus on solving a mystery, either. It’s about strong characters whose lives are challenged day after day and that seems too bleak for most of the TV audience. Most TV shows out there are just about solving mysteries and when that’s done, there’s no more substance to them. The Leftovers is completely the opposite; its substance is in its strong characters and their struggles and that is too much for many people to handle. And that’s why we are so eager to watch The Leftovers Season 3 online stream.

The Leftovers Season 3 Release Date

We only have few days to go.  With “Game of Thrones” Season 7 delayed until the summer, HBO comes with a drama that premieres on 2017’s spring.

Season 3 of The Leftovers, which will be the show’s last, picks up seven years after the Sudden Departure. The Garvey and Murphy families come together, as they search for an explanation for the inexplicable. Around them, the world prepares for something big, a “corresponding bookend” to the catastrophe that instigated the story.

The Leftovers is returning for its final season this year. More specifically The Leftovers Season 3 is coming on Sunday, April 16 at 9 p.m. EDT on HBO.

The Leftovers Season 3 Spoilers

An unacceptable truth-The world goes on but many people are having a hard time moving forward with their lives. This situation brought about the rise of cult activities like that of the Guilty Remnant, a group of mutes that mess with other people’s lives.

The final season of The Leftovers series will be airing eight episodes and could also possibly feature the end of the world as they know it.

Executive producer Damon Lindelof recently teased that Season 3 may not feel quite like The Leftovers to which fans are accustomed. Besides the new Down Under locale, it’s also, obviously, “ending, and that’s infusing it with a certain degree of energy that’s different, perhaps, than the previous seasons.”

“The Leftovers” season 3 stars Amy Brenneman, Kevin Carroll, Christopher Eccleston, Scott Glenn, Lindsay Duncan, Regina King, Jovan Adepo, Janel Moloney, Margaret Qualley, Jasmin Savoy-Brown, Liv Tyler and Chris Zylka.

The Leftovers is a poetically and eloquently written show speaking on the state of our world. When watching this show you can actually feel how broken the characters are and feel their pain which evokes and mirrors our own pain.

And here’s the synopsis that HBO released last month:

The new season, created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta, finds the Garvey and Murphy families coming together as they desperately grasp for a system of belief to help better explain that which defies explanation. The world is crackling with the energy of something big about to happen, a corresponding bookend to the Sudden Departure that sent them all spinning years earlier, bringing their journey Down Under.
